Galleri was developed to address the needs of individuals new to the art world, who may feel uncertain about where to begin or perceive art as an exclusive domain. Recognizing these barriers, we aimed to create a more accessible entry point into contemporary art.

Our approach was to simplify the discovery process by leveraging familiar user interfaces. Inspired by the ease of scrolling through social media or swiping on dating apps, Galleri employs a similar swipe-based system to browse artworks, making exploration engaging and intuitive.

Galleri is an innovative, immersive art platform designed by GWU students to facilitate access to new artistic works. Users can swipe right to express interest in a piece or left to pass, with the system providing tailored recommendations based on their interactions, thereby personalizing the discovery experience.
